Congratulations to Dennis on being awarded a Research Scholarship from Sydney Vital
Dennis Diaz was awarded a Research Scholarship from the translational cancer research centre, Sydney Vital. Dennis will work on developing a targeted photodynamic therapy for breast cancer using biological nanoparticles.

Welcome Sandra
Welcome to our new group member, PhD candidate Febrina Carolina Sandra (Sandra). Sandra has a Master’s in Pharmacy from the Korea University, Seoul, South Korea, with specialisation in nano drug delivery systems. Sandra will work on the development of biological nanoparticles for the targeted co-delivery of therapeutics in cancer treatment under the supervision of Andrew and Anwar Sunna.

Congratulations to Andrew on being awarded 2018 Early Career Fellowship from the Cancer Institute Ne
Andrew was awarded a 2018 Early Career Fellowship from the Cancer Institute New South Wales (CINSW) to fund the research project,‘Biological nanoparticles for the targeted delivery and light-triggered release of drugs’. This project aims to develop novel protein nanocages for the targeted co-delivery and controlled release of therapeutics in the multimodal treatment of cancer.
